What makes the vehicle different

Refuelable by design

Extearier is sized around propellant it does not have to launch from Earth. Oxygen and hydrogen extracted from lunar ice and regolith feed the same tanks it lands with, so each additional flight costs energy rather than a new launch.

Hardened for dust and thermal cycling

Lunar dust is abrasive, electrostatic, and unforgiving. The hull uses sealed actuator housings, replaceable leading edge panels, and radiators sized for the swing between sunlit and shadowed operations.

Cargo first, modular second

The spine carries standard pods: bulk regolith, cryogenic tankage, pressurized science, or surface equipment. Pods are swapped in orbit rather than unpacked, keeping turnaround on the order of days.

Supervised autonomy

Navigation, descent, docking, and pod handoff run without a human in the loop. Operators set intent and constraints; the vehicle plans and executes, which is what makes a high cadence resource route economical.

Where it fits

Extearier is the transport tier of the resource layer. Extraction on the surface is worth little without a route to orbit, and orbital depots are worth little without a vehicle that can be refilled from local supply. The vehicle exists to close that loop so a long term presence stops depending on Earth launch for mass.
